The first thought people have when writing the copy for their website is to write about "who they are" on the home page.

After all when a visitor arrives, you say, if we don't tell them who we are and what we do then how are they going to be able to evaluate us, you may ask? These propositions directly communicate to your visitor that you have something to offer them, hold their attention and encourages them to read more. Not only encourage them but this kind of value proposition gives you the focus for your whole website.

Whatever your proposition is all the material you write thereafter is radically focused on proving to the visitor how you are able to deliver on your statement. Use your principal homepage headline to communicate your site's underlying value proposition.
